I snagged a NIB Taurus PT101 .40 w/2 16 round magazines for $299 today. Thank you Academy Sports!

Can't wait to shoot it. Supposedly the same gun (literally produced on the same machinery) as a Beretta P92.

There's only one thing about them - I can't tell if the safety/decock is plastic or some sort of composite. It just doesn't feel like metal. Not a show-stopper, though. I like the Beretta 92/96 series, and the PT-101 seems very similar. A little big for CC, but a good gun for home defense or working out on the property.

Unfortunately, my XXL hands cannot shoot anything other than a large frame pistol. I am not sure what I would do if I ever start to carry.
